Happy St. Patty's Day / Spring Break / Easter!
The next two weeks are home to more holidays than I can count. St. Patrick's Day is on Monday. Monday is also the start of Spring Break. And if you call during the next 30 minutes, we'll throw in an Easter for free! So not only will you have no additional work you need to do (I say nothing about the work you have pending), but you will be able to celebrate all sorts of random holidays with corn beef and cabbage, vacations to warmer places, and chocolate bunnies! I suppose if you were to combine all of these you would wind up with an Easter basket full of dyed green potatoes and beef. Things could be worse, these are a good two weeks.
Every year, my parents the Easter bunny gives me and my brother Easter baskets on Easter morning. It usually consists of a basket full of green Easter grass, with some snickers, peeps, a chocolate bunny, probably some bubble gum things, Cadbury cream eggs, etc. The secret is to not leave the Easter baskets on the ground, or else my dog will devour it all. It is very confusing at school to be able to leave my food on the floor, because food in low places + dog = no food. I will bring the Easter basket back to Olin with me and I will be able to keep it on the floor for as long as I want.
If you're going to do for spring break, here are a few last minute travel arrangements I have been able to find for you:
- A trip to Atlanta, Georgia
- 13 post cards from Miami. Send them to people so they think you went on a Spring Break trip.
- A model plane, so you can pretend that you went somewhere. Maybe you can use it to fly from the dorms to the Academic Center, where you can watch films that take place in foreign countries, then fly back.
- Spring Break, the movie. Two sets of two college guys spend a spring break together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There they have lots of fun in and out of the sun.
So there you have it, plenty of potential opportunities for last second spring break plans! I hope everyone has a good break! There will be no Digest next week, but then we'll be back to the regularly scheduled Digest.
Also, I want to note that there are absolutely no iCals in this week's Digest. What the heck is going on. I demand that next week there be at least one dozen iCals attached to the Digest. If there aren't, I will literally make up events to invite you to. I am not kidding.

Office of Student Life Dolly Missing
A green, upright dolly belonging to the Office of Student Life is lost somewhere on campus. Please help it find its way back to the third floor of the Campus Center. We use this dolly to move heavy items from place to place during events and need it back soon.

Do you love music?
Two Babson College Professors seek a gifted programmer to help study the origins and growth of the rock music industry. Can you design a system that integrates existing online data about rock artists to help us visualize the growth and development of rock? We’re looking for one - or possibly two - unique students who are passionate about rock who have impressive technical skills. Broadly, we are looking to understand and visualize artistic innovations in the music industry (see below link). Depending on the candidate’s credentials, we might be able to arrange an independent study for this project. There are only two questions: 1) are you the best? and 2) do you love music?
Call 617.290.5294 or e-mail
enoyes@babson.edu to see how you can contribute to this unique endeavor. Meetings with individual students will start March 10 and continue through March 21.

No More Jobs Left
They are all gone.
There was no PGP announcement submitted this week, so I am inferring that there are absolutely no jobs left for anyone on the entire planet. Sorry if you were looking, but they're all taken up!
But seriously, I'm not being serious. Swing by
http://careers.olin.edu/ and talk with Sally Phelps (who is super duper friendly) for more information about opportunities!
